AJINOMOTO EUROLYSINE S.A.S. has been manufacturing feed grade L-Tryptophan since 2000. To meet the fast growing demand, the company has been regularly increasing production capacities. The latest significant extension, achieved early 2007, will allow a 2800 tons per annum production, necessary to serve the fast growing demand in Europe and in the world.
The product is at present promoted through an international communication campaign. All along this year, you will meet the symbolic piglet in the professional press (feed industry and farmers magazines).
L-Tryptophan is registered in Europe as a nutritional additive (Regulation EC 1831/2003 of 18/10/2003 on additives for use in animal nutrition) and can be used in all animal species. Today it is commonly included in piglet and sow feeds, as well as in pet foods.
